FOOD BANK

“He is not a believer who fills his stomach while his neighour is Hungry”

The READ Centre Foodbank is a new project setup in support of members of the Watford community who have been adversely affected by the continuing Lockdown. As times get harder for some people such as those who may have lost their jobs, are elderly, or anyone in need; We appeal to our community to do what we can in order to ensure no one in our community sleeps at night worrying where their next meal will come from.

Please donate food items to our food bank generously

  • Pasta
  • Canned food and soup
  • Lentils and beans
  • Shelf stable milk
  • Any other non-perishables

In future we may collect fresh food to be distributed the same day InshaAllah

Drop off and pick up times are Monday to Sunday 12:00 to 6:00pm

Please feel free to pick up supplies for friends and family. If delivery is required, contact us with your delivery address. We can deliver within Watford and surrounding areas. Your details will be kept confidential

Please call 07946 770522 before arriving to the Read Centre so we can open the gate for you. Alternatively you can contribute financially using the following details. 100% of the money raised will be used for the project, and no salaries or admin costs will be taken as this project is run by volunteers
